For most families I would recommend booking a 30 min session as little ones rarely will concentrate in the studio for a whole hour! The 60 min session is ideal for families who have a newborn and will need extra time to settle and feed throughout the shoot, or for anyone who feels that their kids would benefit from a longer, more relaxed session.

Hello, I'm so glad that you are interested in booking one of my studio photoshoots! These classic family sessions are running from my new studio in Woldingham (CR3 7DB)

Getting Booked In

We all know that life is busy and it's hard to find time to plan and book a family photoshoot! Luckily, booking in with me is pretty straight forward. Pick your preferred time slot above and instantly secure your photoshoot (because who has time for back and forth emails!?) I'll drop you an email with some pregnancy-brain-proof directions and your all set!

Preparing For Your Photoshoot

Set your kids up for success (and smiles!) by picking a time slot when they are usually well rested and on good form. Arrive with plenty of time to find the studio and reapply your lipstick, already dressed for the session in white/neutral colours.

During Our Session

During your photoshoot I will take a combination of group and individual photographs, making sure to capture all the different family groupings and combinations. I'll be armed with a farting pig toy and colourful rattles to keep the kids entertained.

After The Shoot

After your photoshoot I will send you an unedited watermarked gallery with all the best images from your session. You can then pick your favourite images which I will edit and send back to you within 2 weeks.

FAQ's

Should I book a 30 or 60 min session?

My extended 60 minute family photoshoots are ideal for families with newborns who will need extra time to settle and feed throughout the shoot, or for anyone who feels that their kids would benefit from a longer, more relaxed session

What should we wear?

I recommend coming dressed in white, cream or beige to match the set up. Getting a bit more dressed up photographs better than being overly casual, so please stay away from any tracksuits or hoodies!

I love a white dress for girls and little bow-ties and braces for boys, but there is absolutely no need to purchase a whole new wardrobe for your session - the most important thing is to come in neutral colours.

I would avoid any bright / busy patterns or character clothing as this will date your photographs!

Please stay away from any items of clothing which are big and bulky which tend to ride up and hide part of little ones faces when sitting down. This happens more often than you would think!

If you are still unsure, I would highly recommend having a look on Pinterest for a bit of inspo!

How many people can I bring?

These sessions are not suitable for more than 5 people as the backdrop is not wide enough to accommodate larger groups. For families with newborns, I would recommend booking an extended session to allow time to settle and feed your baby throughout.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule my shoot?

If you need to cancel or reschedule your photoshoot for any reason please let me know as soon as possible. For cancellations/reschedules with more than 48 hours notice your payment method will be refunded minus a £15 cancellation fee. For cancellations/reschedules with less than 48 hours notice no refund will be given.

Where can I park?

There is free parking on the road right outside the studio

What should I bring?

Please come ready and dressed for your session in plenty of time. You don't need to bring anything apart from yourselves, but a hairbrush and some bribery snacks are never a bad idea!

Can I purchase additional images?

Yes you can! Additional images cost £6.99 each or I offer the following discounted bundle deals. 

5 additional images for £30 (save £4.95) 

10 additional images for £55 (save £14.90)

25 additional images £125 (save £49.75)
